1. The Word of God The Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. II Peter 1:20-21
2. The Trinity There is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. Deut. 6:4; II Cor. 13:14
3. God The Father God the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers a prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. John 3:16; I Tim. 2:5; Eph. 4:6
4. Jesus Christ Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit. His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth. Matt. 1:20; I Tim. 2:5-6; Acts 1:9-11
5. Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide. John 14:16-17; 16:8-11; Acts 1:8
6. Regeneration All men are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore, under condemnation. Those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Romans 3:23; I John 1:9; Eph. 2:8
7. Christian Conduct A Christian should live for the glory of God and the well being of his fellowman; that his conduct should be blameless before the world; that he should be a faithful steward of his possessions; and that he should seek to realize for himself and others the full stature of maturity in Christ. Phil. 3:10; Gal. 5:16, 22-25; James 1:27
8. Religious liberty Every human being has direct access to God, and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith. Heb. 10:18-22
9. Church Cooperation The universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church and encourage every believer, as part of God’s family to regularly attend the fellowship of His church. Ps. 122:1; I Peter 2:5; Col. 1:18
10. Christian Witness Every believer has a scriptural mandate to share his life of faith in Christ. We believe the only Christ many will ever see is the Christ they see in us, thereby making our personal lives the most powerful influence for effective Christian witness. Matt. 28:19-20; John 20:21; Matt. 5:16
11. The last Things The personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal joy of the righteous and the endless suffering of the wicked. Rev. 22:12; Thes. 4:16-17; Luke 16:22-25
12. Satan and Hell The personality of Satan, the prince and power of this world and his ultimate defeat by Jesus Christ. We believe in a literal hell, a place prepared for Satan and his followers. I Peter 5:8; Eph. 2:2; Matt. 35:41
